Household Waste Recycling Centres

Cumbria County Council has just announced that our local Household Waste Recycling Centre at Guides Lot, Allithwaite Road, Grange over Sands, LA11 7EN is staying open during lockdown.

It is essential that you book an appointment, please telephone: 015395 35033.

When you arrive on site there may be some queuing. Your name and vehicle registration will be checked by a member of staff. Once it is confirmed that you have a valid booking you will be directed by the sites staff. Please clearly display your booking reference number on a sheet of paper in your windscreen for the site staff to read. If you have a waste permit please make this available to the staff.

Opening hours: Thursday to Saturday 8am to 4pm

This site may be open late or close early during the winter months for health and safety reasons.
